Fox Hill Farm & Cheese House - Port Williams
Fox Hill Farm, a sixth
generation family farm nestled in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia,
is home to Fox Hill Cheese House surrounded by lush fields and apple orchards and a spectacular
view of Minas Basin and Cape Blomidon.
The farm specializes
in aged and specialty cheddar, plain and herbed havarti and gouda,
quark and quark dips, fresh curds, feta, Parmesran (a Parmesan style
cheese), natural yogurt, and gelato. The retail area is highlighted
with hand crafted post and beam features. You can watch the cheese
making process unfold through a viewing window on cheese making days.
You can also find specialty imported cheese and other specialty
products Stop in for fresh bread delivered daily from Marie et Guy's
House Bread French Bakery, or pick up Meadowbrook Meat Market Smoked
Sausages. Acadian Maple Products and Swissmar® and Zyliss® products.
Admire the framed photography and cards by Ernest Cadegan and view a
selection of books - children, cheese and cookbooks. Fox Hill Cheese
House also sells chocolate specialties from Gourmandise Avenue. All
Gourmandise Avenue products are made in the traditional French style
using only the highest quality ingredients with no preservatives. Check
out the assortment at Fox Hill Cheese House, especially at Easter and
during the Christmas season.

Foote Family Farm - Annapolis Valley
A beautiful farm set
against the North Mountain in Woodville Kings County, Nova Scotia.
Orchards with big, old trees as well as tidy rows of dwarf trees
surround the 19th century farm house and barns. Come to get your honey
and cider, pick some apples, visit the animals and picnic in the cherry
orchard.
Honey bee on apple blossom Foote Family Farm is a family run farm. They
grow apples, pears, plums, cherries and a small plot of raspberries.
Apples are pressed on Fridays to produce fresh unpasteurized apple
cider (no preservatives added) Beekeeping is a family tradition begun
by George's father Henry. They produce and sell honey products on the
farm.

Noggins Farm Maze - Annapolis Valley
Open August 1st to November 1st. Daily 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
including weekends and holidays. Last admission 5:30 pm Flashlight
maze every Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights starting October 1st to
October 30th 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Last admission to Flashlight maze
8:30 pm. Admission includes the corn maze, rope maze, duck races,
washer toss game, puzzle mazes, the barnyard adventure area and a wagon
ride (Friday, weekends and holidays).
