We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Carwarden: pastoral, quiet, beautiful setting. Mary was a fantastic host: great conversation, advice on what to see and where to eat, and an incredible breakfast - the "Bird Seed" is awesome. This B&B is a perfect location to explore the Annapolis Valley, Digby arm, Peggy's Cove, Lunenburg etc. Highly recommended.

Bed & Breakfast Rooms & Rates

The Gravenstein Room  Rate: $90:00 CAD

The Gravenstein Room is a lovely large airy room with a queen sized antique brass bedstead; there is ample room to set up a cot for a third person. A large east window provides morning sunlight, and overlooks green lawns and fruit trees pink and white with blossom or red with fruit in season. This room shares the main bathroom off the hall with the Russet Room.

The Cortland Room   Rate:$104.00 CAD

The Cortland Room is a pretty corner room with queen sized bed and ensuite bath. The north window gives a wonderful view of the dykelands; the east window looks out on a luxuriant cherry tree, and brightens the room with morning sunshine.

The Duchess Room Rate: $104.00 CAD

The Duchess Room has a queen sized bed and an ensuite bath.  Two large north facing windows give a splendid view over the Canard dykelands toward Blomidon in the distance.

The Russet Room Rate:$90.00 CAD

The Russet Room has twin beds; a large west window admits golden afternoon light, and gives a lush view of lawns and shade trees. This room shares the main bathroom off the hall with the Gravenstein Room.

All rooms have comfortable chairs, fans, alarm clock/radios, and bedside reading lamps.

Carwarden is a smoke-free property.
